The Creighton University Graduate School has launched a redesigned website aimed at attracting lifelong learners.

The new gradschool.creighton.edu – a collaborative effort by the Graduate School, University Communications and Marketing, and Information Technology – went live Tuesday and is structured to make it easier for prospective students to find the right program to further their education. The site features prominent links to information on Creighton’s educational offerings, allowing users to easily browse programs, schedule an appointment with an enrollment specialist or submit an application.

The site features robust pages on available degrees, certificates and professional development courses, opening the door for potential students to obtain information about Creighton’s graduate programs, says Kelsey Kelly, senior director of strategic academic marketing for the Graduate School. A new section, labeled “Discover Your Path,” is meant to help guide students who fall into certain categories — military, international, nondegree seeking adults and others — to the program that’s right for them.

“There’s a lot of different routes that people can explore, and we were very intentional in defining the paths that various students who visit the site can take. We were looking to meet their needs and offer information that we know will be the most helpful for them,” Kelly says.

The new site also highlights testimonials from current students and notable alumni, such as Peabody Award-winning journalist Paula Lavigne, MBA’09, and pediatric ophthalmologist Donny Suh, MD, MBA’19.

“We knew that our audience, when searching for schools or looking to go back to graduate school, wanted return on investment for their education. They are digital consumers with high expectations and they want flexible options,” Kelly says. “We wanted the new site to hit on those points, but also create a space where we aren’t just telling students about our programs, but alumni, students and faculty are telling stories of their experiences.”

The site will be continually updated with improvements and new content, Kelly says. It will also serve as a roadmap as the University looks to update additional Creighton websites.

With the goal of encouraging interested users to apply or contact an enrollment specialist, the Graduate School has streamlined the site, moving several student resource pages to BlueLine. The following pages from the “Current Students” section of the site have been moved:

All courses in BlueLine will contain the “Student Resources” link illustrated below. This link will direct graduate students to helpful information, including necessary forms and policies.
