In response to the COVID pandemic, the Irish Circle of the Lacanian Orientation, a group of the World Association of Psychoanalysis, has organized an eight session commented reading of Sigmund Freud’s Civilization and Its Discontents. Saturday, April 18, School of Medicine Professor and Associate Dean for Strategy and Accreditation Thomas Svolos, MD, presented the first of two commentaries on Freud’s seminal text.
