Sriram Ramaswamy, MD, professor, Department of Psychiatry, (pictured) and School of Medicine student Anthony Easterday co-authored an article published in the Journal of Social Distress and the Homeless. The article is entitled “Rural homelessness: its effect on healthcare access, healthcare outcomes, mobility, and perspectives of novel technologies.” The purpose the study was to determine the sociodemographic, physical and mental health status, barriers to access to care, and perspectives on potential technological advances of homeless individuals.
