Michael Kim, MD, MMM, FACC, FAHA, FHRS, joined the School of Medicine as professor and chair of the Department of Medicine Sept. 10. Kim earned his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, and his Master of Medical Management from Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College. His postgraduate training includes internal medicine residency, as well as cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology fellowships, at the University of Michigan. Most recently, Kim served as director of the Cardiology Fellowship Program at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.
