Medical Students Take Top Honors at Nebraska Regional American College of Physicians Poster Competition

The Nebraska Regional American College of Physicians poster competition for Creighton and UNMC internal Medicine Residents/Fellows was held Oct. 27 on Creighton’s campus. For the second year in a row, Creighton University School of Medicine took top honors in the poster competition with awards given to the following:

  • Mohan Satish, second-year medical student, Creighton University School of Medicine for his poster “Trends in Usage and Impact of Echocardiography in Hospitalized Patients with Syncope.”
  • Daniel Ermann, internal medicine PGY 1, Creighton University School of Medicine for his poster “Primary Mediastinal B-Cell Lymphoma Presenting with Dyspnea and Superior Vena Cava Syndrome.”

Satish and Ermann will represent the Nebraska ACP Chapter by presenting their poster at the National ACP Internal Medicine Conference, April 19-21 in New Orleans.
