Kimberly Galt, PharmD, PhD, FNAP, FASHP, professor in pharmacy sciences, published a new chapter entitled, “Pharmacy and patient centered care”, in the 23rd edition of The Remington: Science and Practice of Pharmacy. The publication first edition was published in 1885 and is a seminal reference for the profession of pharmacy and the scientists that work within the wide-ranging fields associated with the profession. Galt’s chapter emphasizes the evolving health care role and systems of delivery of care by pharmacists to patients.
