Long-Time Creighton University Advisor is New Creighton Federal Skutt Student Center Branch Manager
James (Jim) Dorsey is now manager of the Skutt Student Center branch of Creighton Federal Credit Union. Since 2014 he has served Creighton University as Assistant Director of Academic Services. Dorsey previously served as an academic tutor and as the university’s Crime Prevention Officer.
“Life on the Creighton campus is busy, to say the least,”noted Creighton Federal president Tom Kjar. “And it’s busy for everyone in different ways. It was important for us to hire a person as branch manager who understands how things work and how best to serve the people we want to engage with products and services that fit their individual needs. Jim brings all that to the table.”
Dorsey explained, “I’ve been a part of it since 2005. I understand Creighton University and I particularly understand the people and the diversity of their needs and preferences. I’ll be helping them in ways they haven’t even thought about.”
