College of Nursing Pinning and Hooding Ceremony

The College of Nursing’s summer Pinning and Hooding Ceremony, Omaha campus, was held Aug. 16. One Doctor of Nursing graduate was hooded, and 45 Accelerated Nursing students received their nursing pin. The student body presented the Faculty Award for Clinical Teaching Excellence to instructor Jamie Beck, MSN, RN and the Faculty Award for Classroom Teaching Excellence to assistant professor Trisha Beiermann, MSN, RN.

The Phoenix campus held their pinning ceremony the following day, Aug. 17 Nursing pins were presented to 38 graduating Accelerated Nursing students on that campus. Their student body presented the Award for Clinical Teaching Excellence to instructor Patty Timmons, MSN, RN and the Award for Classroom Teaching Excellence to instructor Debra Hamilton, MSN, RNC.
