Brown’s Book Receives Global Psychology Book Award

Jill BrownJill Brown, PhD, associate professor of psychology, co-edited a book with University of Nebraska-Lincoln associate professor Maria Rosario T. de Guzman, PhD, that has been selected as the recipient of the 2019 Ursula Gielen Global Psychology Book Award. The book is titled Parenting From Afar and the Reconfiguration of Family Across Distance. The award is given every year by the International Psychology Division (52) of the American Psychological Association to the authors of the book that makes the most significant contribution to psychology as a global discipline. The award will be presented at the 2020 American Psychological Association Convention.
