Takanari Miyamoto, DDS, PhD, MSD, MBA, associate professor of the Department of Periodontology and diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, was chosen as speaker for 2019 Schoolman Lecture at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. The Schoolman Lecture is a honored annual lecture series presented to the graduating periodontology residents at their graduation ceremony. Only one periodontist who is a successful alumni is selected to be a speaker every year.
Miyamoto co-moderated and organized a five day international workshop in Molmo University in July in Sweden, “Advance Oral Health through Cariology and Periodontology” with Dr. Dan Ericson an international recognized speaker in cariology.
