Mission and Ministry Formation Programs Fall Launch

  • NOVICE – the six-session orientation for new employees across the university began in late September with 84 participants. Six faculty and staff leaders, chaired by Rick Davis, are guiding the program and facilitating small groups. Another eight faculty and staff offer one or two sessions of content delivery.
  • The Faculty Seminar in Jesuit Higher Education (12 sessions total) includes 18 participants and three leaders including Drs. Cindy Costanzo and Gintarus Duda, and the Rev. Greg Carlson, SJ.
  • The Creighton Colleagues program for leadership (eight sessions total) is hosting 26 participants with Dr. Wayne Young, Allison Taylor and Susan Naatz as leaders.
  • Two Ignatian Retreat in Daily Life groups are accompanying the Online Retreat opportunity this academic year. Totaling 21, faculty and staff the groups meet monthly under the facilitation of the Rev. Andy Alexander, SJ, and Susan Naatz from the Office for Faculty and Staff Ignatian Formation and Ministry.
  • Two Managing for Mission sessions co-hosted by Human Resources were given by Fr. Andy Alexander.
  • Three short Ignatian retreats for the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies, the College of Nursing and the Education Department took place this fall. Facilitators were Susan Naatz, Fr. Greg Carlson, Gladyce Janky and Fr. Larry Gillick, SJ, from the Office for Faculty and Staff Ignatian Formation and Ministry.
