  • Publications:
    • One of four editors of Prescription Drug Diversion and Pain: History, Policy, and Treatment published by Oxford University Press in August. In this book, Dineen authored two chapters: “Legal Regulation of Opioid Prescribing” and “Opioid Prescribing in Stigmatized and Special Populations.”
  • Presentations:
    • Presented “Important Opioid Facts for Judges at the Iowa Judicial Branch Conference in June.
    • Is a conference planner and facilitator for the September American Health Law Association Opioid Convener. This conference will bring together 20 national experts from the private and public sectors with the goal of shaping future legal and policy efforts to address the opioid crisis.

    • Discussed opioid addiction in a recent NPR story.
