Kelly Dineen, RN, JD, PhD, assistant professor of law and director of the health law program, presented “Addressing Pain in the Midst of the Opioid Crisis: Alternative Facts and Discarded Realities” on April 6 at the Saint Louis University Health Law Annual Symposium, Public Health Law in the Era of Alternative Facts, Isolationism and the One Percent. Dineen has also been invited to present her work on opioids at the University of Kansas in September 2018 and at the University of Utah in November 2018. Articles based on her work will appear in each law school’s law review.
