HIV/AIDS Awareness Week was held Feb. 5-9. HIV/AIDS Awareness Week is a project run by the Multicultural Health Sciences Student Association (MHSSA). The project’s goal is to broaden the knowledge of health professions’ students, staff and faculty about HIV/AIDS. Presentations were given on the prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS and the reality of living with the disease.
