Dr. Kate Nolt, assistant professor for the Master of Public Health Program, was the keynote speaker at Garnet Valley School Districts (Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania) New Realities of Parenting Program on Jan. 3. The presentation was about using Motivational Interviewing technique in brief interventions while parenting any aged child. This was an interactive and fun workshop style presentation where participants were able to learn the skills related to the basics of motivational interviewing, and then practice their skills and receive feedback.
